Refunds and Return policy

Purchases made on SWIMMINGSOUNDSYSTEM.COM, like all distance sales made by telephone or mail order, are protected by Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005, as amended (Directive 2011/83/EU, implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree 21 February 2014, No. 21), which provides for the consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract.

Pursuant to Article 52 of the Consumer Code of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, if the Customer is a Consumer, they have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without penalty and subject to the provisions set out below. The  Consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods. This right consists of the option to return the purchased goods to the supplier without penalty and without specifying a reason, and the consequent refund of the purchase price of the goods.

This right applies to all products, with the strict exception of made-to-measure items, custom-made items and specially ordered items.

Products for which a return has been requested and approved must be received within 14 days at the address specified in the authorisation.

Please note that the cost of returning the goods is the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

The refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the goods, following verification that they are in working order and have not been tampered with. Mausound will refund the Consumer all payments made for that product, including delivery charges (with the exception of any additional costs arising from the choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest option).

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed otherwise.
The refund may be withheld until the goods have been received.

The Consumer is liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

 

The Professional’s Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the law, the right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for Consumers (natural persons who purchase goods not for purposes related to their professional, commercial or business activities); therefore, it cannot be exercised by legal entities or by natural persons acting for purposes related to any professional activity they may carry out.
